NAVIBULGAR added the fifth Bluetech 45 vessel to its fleet

On 24.06.2020 the flag of the fifth from the series 45.500 tonne bulk carrier m/v “Milin Kamak” (MILIN KAMAK - ІМО 9841641), contracted by Navigation Maritime Bulgare, has been hoisted at Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The newly built vessel is a part of Bluetech 45 project and it is the first in the fleet  equipped with a scrubber (exhaust gas cleaning system as to minimize the air pollution).
The godmother of the vessel is Mrs Zhang Hongwei- Deputy Executive Director in SINOSURE, Jiangsu branch.

Milin Kamak is the second ship in the history of Navibulgar with this name .
In fact Milin kamak is a hill  associated with the epic march of the Bulgarian revolutionary Hristo Botev and his rebellions who gave their lives  for the liberation of the country.

The first Milin Kamak was a 25,000-tonne bulk carrier built in Varna in 1979. She was in employment until 2011.
The maiden voyage of the newly built  vessel will commence from Nanjing, China.
Meanwhile in in the same Chinese shipyard, the sixth and last from the series 45.000 tonne bulk carrier tbn Okolchitsa, is on the outfitting wharf for completion.
