Despite the challenging global conditions due to COVID- 19, Navibulgar is constantly renewing its fleet. On 27 May the flag of the 45.000 tonne bulk carrier Malyovitsa (Malyovitsa- ІМО: 9835795) was raised at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The newly built vessel does not differ in technical parameters from her sisters Plana Midjur and Buzludja as part of Bluetech 45 project , that have already proven their reliability and efficiency
The godmother of the new motor vessel is Mrs Chunyan Tang- a member of the Navibulgar team responsible for monitoring of the quality of the newly built ships.
M/v Malyovitsa is the second ship to bear that name in the history of Navigation Maritime Bulgare. The first one was a 25,000- tonne bulk carrier, built in Varna, which was a part of Navibulgar fleet from 1983 to 2013.
