I hereby express my sincere gratitude for the invaluable contribution
and assistance offered by you and the crew members of B/C “PLANA” to the
Search and rescue operation, which resulted in the rescue of 453 passengers
and crew of the Italian-flagged M/V “NORMAN ATLANTIC” that was in distress
in the southern Adriatic Sea on the 28th December 2014.
This action constitutes an excellent act of humanism and solidarity,
proving your strong commitment to the long lasting values and principle of
seamanship.
